I’m jet setting to London and leaving behind me the best room, house and flatmates I’ve ever had in Annerley – a 10 minute drive to the city and short walk to the train station, cafes, gym and bottle shop.
The room is large (around 4m x 4m) with a deck, built-ins, beautiful view of the city, storage cupboard, and fan and for $185 a week. The Townhouse has 3 large bedrooms on separate levels, 2 bathrooms and 3 separate toilets. It’s seriously sizeable. There’s a great kitchen (gas stove!), deck, outdoor area, laundry and garage for parking (with undercover parks also available). We split bills, and unlimited internet is available for $20 a month. The house is furnished but a new lounge, TV or microwave would be grand. Your room will be empty and ready to be lovingly furnished.
So what about these lovely housemates? Bodhi (30) and Belle (24) are probably the two most relaxed and loveliest people I know. Perfect housemates, happy to have a nice wine on Fridays , chill out on the deck, and willing to watch bad television and laugh at it with me.
Who we are looking for? A 20-30 something professional who is laid back, clean, happy to chat now and then, and doesn’t mind a cheeky wine or beer on occasions.
