We have 1 bedroom avaliable in a modern three-bedroom townhouse in a quiet part of Annerley. It's a GREAT location for UQ (+ ICTE) and QUT students as we're very close to transport (both trains and buses) and shops (including Fairfield Gardens Shopping Centre). There are also a number of leafy parks in the area.
Downstairs has a tiled and air-conditioned open plan lounge and dining area. The kitchen is stocked with stainless steel appliances, including dishwasher. The covered patio and leafy private courtyard are perfect places to relax. Also includes internal laundry with washing machine.
Bedrooms upstairs are carpeted and feature built-in wardrobes and ceiling fans. The vacant room currently contains a desk, chair, and bookshelf. There is a single mattress available if you don't have a bed, and the room can fit a double or queen bed comfortably if you're bringing your own. You would be sharing the main bathroom with just 1 other person.
The cost:
$200 per week covers all bills. Yes, ALL BILLS! That means you do not have to worry about water, electricity, gas or even internet. You would be responsible for meeting all other costs (food, toiletries etc.). A short term stay is OK but the maximum duration would probably be until March or April 2014 as the lease will be reviewed then.
The people:
Jennifer is 27 and works at UQ. Beau is 24 and studies at QUT. We're friendly, quiet and neat, and would appreciate similar qualities in a housemate. If you're interested in joining us we'd love to meet you. International students are very welcome.
